Audioactive MP3 Production Studio is a set of tools for encoding MP3 audio files. The studio converts PCM into MP3 using the industry-standard Faunhofer Gesellschaft Laboratory algorithm. The encoder uses enhanced MP3 compression to convert PCM (WAV) files into MP3, ASF (Active Streaming Format), Shockwave and compressed WAV audio formats. Once audio files are encoded, they can be used for local playback, or they may be stored on any Web server for download or real-time streaming.

BladeEnc is a fast, command-line MP3 (MPEG layer 3 audio) encoder. It reads standard WAV and AIFF files to produce MPEG audio files with up to 230 kBit/s output. It can perform batch encoding and it can output stereo or mono. Other features include: support for both 8- and 16-bit samples, the ability to set flags (such as private, original and copyright), the ability to delete input samples after recording, the ability to emulate the behavior of L3Enc, and support for 32, 44.1, and 48 kHz input samples.

CodAxe is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the Windows 95/NT Audio Codec Manager (ACM). It was designed to provide a convenient and efficient way of using the functionality of the audio compression (and decompression) drivers available for windows. It is NOT a Codec itself, and no Codecs are delivered with CodAxe.

MPEG Suite is a fast Audio MPEG encoder and decoder that can use an internal encoding codec made by Electronic Cosmo as well as Plugger+ or BladeEnc (all included). The decoder uses the newest XAudio codec for optimal quality and speed. This version allows you to set ID3 on output from the encoder and converter and can convert a high-bit rate MP3 to a lower bit rate while keeping the ID3 information.

MpegDJ Encoder is an integrated CD audio encoder with direct and combined CD-to-MP3 copying and encoding. It copies at speeds of up to 20X, depending on the CD drive, and includes an automatic ID3 tagger and support for CDDB and multiple CD drives. The current version adds an improved edit screen, a better database engine for artist/title contents, the ability to save files in the format "Artist-Title.mp3," a WAV-to-MP3 encoder, an MP2 encoder, a rip-only function, and flexible selections for the MPEG layer, bit rate, sample rate, and stereo/mono. The demo version copies only the first track of an audio CD.
