Sound Limit is a multipurpose digital sound encoder/decoder. With it, you can create MP3 files from WAV or CD sources. In addition, you can convert an existing MP3 file into a WAV file. Version 2.5 adds a completely new interface, along with the ability to compress and decompress in the same job. It also fixes some problems with CD audio grabs.

Xing MP3Live! Encoder lets you turn any analog audio source into a StreamWorks MPEG stream and for playback with the free StreamWorks Player. The encoder lets you take any audio that you can hear with your soundcard and share it by streaming it over your network. The encoder uses the standard MPEG Layer 3 audio format. It supports MPEG-1 layer 3 and MPEG-2 layer 3 streams in real-time. It supports low data rates and offers IP multicasting or unicast streaming.
