Pportable Mp3 players work similarly to portable CD and tape players. They take Internet downloaded MP3 files from the computer and transfer them onto the portable player. Files can be added and removed when desired. These devices use memory cards to store and play MP3 files. The sound is comparable to any CD player, but they can stand up to vibrations and movement without skipping much, much better than a CD player.
